The action is set in Scotland in our time. Logan investigates the murder of a woman. The suspect may be a murderer or maybe not. The inspector Jenny Logan must collect all puzzle. Find the real murderer and prove his guilt.
I like this book. Reading this book was a little difficult but the story is gripping and intriguing. I recommend this book.

The author is Richard MacAndrew. The story takes place in our time. The main characters of this book are Inspector Jenny Logan, Sergeant Grant, Ronnie Campbell and Morag Mackenzie. The story began when Inspector Logan called Sergeant Grant and reported her about the body of a woman on the beach. They thought that it was a man who escaped from a prison. At first they started to look for clues. They hoped to find something with what this woman was murdered. Also Jenny Logan and Sergeant Grant questioned many people to find a real killer. It was a real mystery for them who was a killer. The strong points of the book are intriguing moments and a well-written interesting plot. The weakness point is that the book is heavy-going and depressing. I recommend this book to all who like murder mystery.
